Reading Assessment

Students are now recording their own reading assessments using an iTouch and microphone.  After practicing the story of the week, the students record themselves reading on Friday.  This assessment will be shared with parents through email.

KLT - Keep Learning On Tracking

We are using a writing rubric to help the students understand the expectations for writing.  Once the students have planned and published their writing, they are required to evaluate their own writing based on the criteria we discussed.  It is a work in progress but they can do it!  After the student's evaluate their writing, I then add my feedback.  This technique helps the students stay focused on expectations of skills.
